From the competitive pool of applicants, Chiratae selected a focused cohort of high-conviction startups and committed up to $10 million across investments: Ctrl B, Interact AI, SuprSend, TakeMe2Space and a stealth startup.
“India is uniquely positioned today, with deep talent, research momentum, and founders potentially building category-defining DeepTech companies. Through Sonic, India’s leading DeepTech investment program, in collaboration with NVIDIA, Chiratae is catalyzing this ecosystem to scale globally.” – Sudhir Sethi, Founder – Chiratae Ventures
Of the selected companies, TakeMe2Space is developing nanosatellite infrastructure for
edge AI computing and Earth observation, with a roadmap toward interconnected on
orbit data systems. CtrlB is a serverless data lake platform that is designed to reduce
observability data storage and analytics costs through diskless, cloud-native architecture.
Interact AI offers AI avatar that replaces static chatbots with audio-visual, product-aware
conversational agents trained in sales and marketing content. SuprSend has developed a
multi-channel notification infrastructure that helps orchestrate multi-channel
communications through a single API. The final investment is a stealth vertical AI platform.
Designed to support founders tackling complex challenges in historically underserved
sectors, the Sonic DeepTech program offered up to $2 million in seed funding with
decision timelines as fast as 48 hours. The program covers sectors where Chiratae
Ventures believes India has a distinct opportunity to lead globally: Energy & Climate,
Quantum Technologies, Robotics & Advanced Manufacturing, Space Technologies, Applied
AI/ML, Bio & MedTech, and Digital Economy. Beyond capital, the program connects
founders to industry partners, and ecosystem networks to accelerate their journey to
scale rapidly.
In addition to the investments deployed, the program identified 14 Sonic DeepTech
Disrupters – startups demonstrating exceptional potential. These companies span the full
breadth of the program’s DeepTech focus areas and represent the next wave of
innovation.
